ELSE Corp at COSMOPROF with the New Retail Experience “MyPOWDERFUL”
Milan, 12 March 2018 – ELSE Corp – a Virtual Retail Company, an Italian start-up working on the development of the Virtual Retail platform, E.L.S.E. (an acronym for Exclusive Luxury Shopping Experience) that proposes a new Virtual Shopping experience in 3D, participates at Cosmopack 2018, an event by Cosmoprof Worldwide Bologna dedicated to the entire beauty production chain, scheduled in Bologna from Thursday 15 to Sunday 18 March 2018. It is a unique chance to understand the evolution of the cosmetics industry at an international level and starting this year, also the new technological solutions that will influence the future of the industry offering a new customer experience; a real revolution where Virtual and Augmented Realities, Holograms, personalization, customization and Artificial Intelligence are the new keywords for the store of the future: ‘The Cosmopack Factory’ becomes DIGITAL.
After a positive start to the year, thanks to some important updates to the else.shoes™ platform for the footwear industry, and the company’s participation at key events, ELSE Corp is now ready to open up its innovative solution for Virtual Retail to the Beauty & Cosmetics sectors as well: in fact, the start-up has developed the New Retail Experience of POWDERFUL, an integrated project for the production of an ‘all-over palette’ created for different types of use. The project called MyPOWDERFUL, aims to immerse the customer-visitor in an extraordinary virtual shopping experience, where they may customize and order an exclusive product, which can then be produced upon request. The 3D Virtual Boutique application is a virtual representation of the retail space, through which the user can discover the product and eventually order it with the guidance of a Shop Assistant; while the Mixed Reality Shopping Experience application provides an even more engaging customization experience in 3D, thanks to the use of the Microsoft HoloLens device. Through these applications the customer may customize every single component of the cosmetic product, choosing from among the different materials, colors and decorations available and they can personalize it with a monogram, selecting its position, font and color.
The format presented follows all the steps of product development: from concept and design, curated by Centedegrés, an international design agency; to the production process, made possible through the collaboration between HCP, Ancorotti Cosmetics, Vetraco Group, Nastritex, Pennelli Faro and Arsmetallo; until the positioning at the point of sale and the typical experiential interaction of the retail channel with new digital solutions: the experience of the product at the point of sale realized by ELSE Corp, and the animation of the product packaging in augmented reality, a project by MCI Brand, an agency specialized in retail at an international level. THE UNLIMITED POWDER EXPERIENCE by Cosmopack is presented at ‘The Cosmopack Factory’ demonstration area, located at Padiglione 19 of Cosmoprime, for the first time putting a spotlight on the retail aspect.
Apart from presenting the POWDERFUL Retail Experience, on Friday 16 March ELSE Corp’s CEO, Andrey Golub, will present his vision of ‘Retail of the Future’ during the COSMOTALKS 2018, the perfect combination of detailed strategic insights defining the future of the industry. The round table discussion, coordinated by WWD, entitled “RETAIL 2025: adapt to the new beauty retail landscape”, will analyse the coming changes, from the point of view of the market. The speakers will explore a variety of emerging technologies including 3D printing, artificial intelligence, unmanned transportation, robotics, wearable technology and virtual reality.
