This year’s competition for international start-ups in the tech-fashion field has a unique challenge: powering the Fashion Chain forward.
Meet the power partners that are joining forces with Decoded Fashion Milan for the fourth edition of The Fashion Pitch! As the official brand partner, an Italian company operative for 70 years with a strong heritage in the textile and fashion industries, present in in 34 different countries: Gruppo Miroglio. And adding the experience in the digital and technology innovation field, a worldwide leading management consulting firm, providing business acceleration to young fashion-tech enterprises: Fashion Technology Accelerator.
The goal, set based on challenges identified by Gruppo Miroglio, is to find a solution that is ready to bring the industry to the next level, with particular focus on the following steps of the fashion chain: product development – including research, design, pattern and model making, and product sizing – production and the commercial phase of both textile and fashion collections.
Selected start-ups will bring ideas that broaden the range of research and production possibilities, opening new options to further both fashion creativity and sales engagement. These solutions will also optimise mentioned processes, proposing ways to reduce time-to-market, error margins, material wastage, and costs in general.
